Pat's Savoury Quiche
This is THE tastiest and easiest quiche around!!
- 2-3 Thick Slices Brown Bread (Plus crusts)
- 1 Tblsp Margarine – Melted
- 1 Cup Milk – Mix Margarine and Milk together and pour over bread and soak
- 1 onion – Chopped
- 1 Green Pepper – Chopped
- Bacon – Diced
- 2 Cups grated cheese
- 3 Eggs – beaten
- Mixed Herbs
- Salt & Pepper
- Mustard (Optional)
You can add viennas, salami, franks – Anything to the above.
Add the above to the bread mixture – If to runny add more bread.
Pour into quiche dish and grate more cheese over the top.
Bake @ 350F or 180C for approx 3/4 hour.
