Pat's Pickled Onions
My homemade pickled onions and so easy to make!
The worst part is having to wait about 3 weeks before you can eat them!!
- 4 Cups Vinegar (white or brown)
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 packet baby pickling onions
- Salt ( pinch)
- 2 Chillies
- A small handful of Peppercorns
Add vinegar, sugar, salt and spice and simmer for ½ hour.
Place onions in an airtight glass jar and add the above mixture.
Seal tightly once cooled down and leave in a cool, dry place for about 3-5 weeks.
