Pat's Pickled Onions

My homemade pickled onions and so easy to make!
The worst part is having to wait about 3 weeks before you can eat them!!

Ingredients:

  • 4 Cups Vinegar (white or brown)
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 packet baby pickling onions
  • Salt ( pinch)
  • 2 Chillies
  • A small handful of Peppercorns

Method:

Add vinegar, sugar, salt and spice and simmer for ½ hour.
Place onions in an airtight glass jar and add the above mixture.
Seal tightly once cooled down and leave in a cool, dry place for about 3-5 weeks.
