Leticia Cox Lens Traveller

Currently based in South Africa, Leticia Cox (aka LensTraveller) is a Spanish-born, internationally published photographer, feature journalist, and content creator.

For this Edition, ICONIC.ZA were fortunate enough to work with Leticia on an article about the environmental disaster resulting from the burning of the UPL agrochemical storage at a warehouse in Cornubia, Durban.

Born in Madrid and now based in Ballito, Leticia has travelled the world , living in many different countries, exposing her to a rich and wide variety of environmental and cultural experiences.

Graduating from business school in The Hague, after following a student exchange program with the National University of Singapore (NUS), It was during her travels in Asia that her passion for photography was realized.

Starting her career as a wildlife photographer while living in Thailand, Leticia worked with local animal organizations while living in Bangkok, helping with the preservation of the endemic endangered wildlife.

In spite of an incredibly frenetic schedule, Leticia has also managed to study Social Media Marketing and Graphic Design at the University of Cape Town(UCT).

Her natural and honest style of shooting have won her international acclaim, and her artistic vision and survival instincts make her an outstanding and knowledgeable travel partner, with a unique ability to capture the spirit of the moment in her work.

A published author of WAVE ART, an illustrated compilation of unique images of waves and ocean sceneries, her portfolio includes portraiture, commercial, sports, and travel photography.
